Tattoo #1.

I recently got my first tattoo!

Wow my feet are not cute, apologies.

I initially got my tattoo done in Texas, on vacation with my best friend and her parents. So that was kind of funny, seeing her clean cut parents in a room with the warmest and kindest that Galveston has to offer. We were on our own for like an hour and Katie and I thought it would be funny if one of us returned with a shaved head or a tattoo or something, and that got the idea in our heads. Her parents actually thought that it was a fun idea, and we ended up going somewhere properly Yelp reviewed with them later that day.

And naturally, as many cheap tattoos do, my sun faded in the months to come. Which really pissed me off, but it didn't really hurt. So maybe I should've realized something was up, but whatever. I probably looked pretty scam-able.

I got my sun redone in Amherst with Katie once again (shocker), and this time she's here to stay. At least we hope so.

So the meaning for my tattoo.

I've always had a thing for suns, since I think they radiate positivity and light (literally and metaphorically). I've been told that I'm a positive person, and I like to think I bring positivity with me. Now I literally bring a little sunshine with me wherever I go (as corny as that sounds). It's kind of a reminder for myself to look on the bright side, and to look for the sunshine in everything.

But yeah, that's the not-so-interesting story of my first tattoo. I don't know if I ever will get another one, but chances are, I might.
