What if the hand that feeds you
Turns around and bites you?
The warmth
Comfortability
Familiarity
Is it real?
Or is it all a distant memory?
Am I driving past
mountains
streams
forests
As I head straight off a cliff?
Or is this journey I'm supposed to take?
The path I've taken
Bumpy
Treacherous
Dangerous, at times
But is it what is meant to be?
Is it so easy to do what I desire
Because it is right?
The sugar tastes so sweet but
Is it bad for me?
